These small entomophagous animals have adapted to survive long periods of time without food and water thanks to the nutrients stored in their humps. The same adaptation allows them to travel remarkably long distances.

Fun fact: In case of danger Garden Dumplings pretend to be dead and even produce a characteristic smell. Interestingly enough, they use the same technique to attract the flies they feed on.
