Quillhops are burrowing animals who spend much of their time digging for juicy root bulbs. Their stiff noses are designed for moling while sensitive sprouts on the back serve better orientation inside the tunnels.

Fun fact: Waddling Quillhops earned their name for a characteristic gait they exhibit on the surface. While the exact reasons behind such unusual motion style are being debated upon, it is known that they move very differently underground.
