Please welcome Ophelia – a Dandelion Dove!
.
Seemingly straight out of a fairy tale, they can be caught pollinating the wild fields during the feeding season – few summer weeks when the animals avidly feast on the nectar, gaining weight for the rest of the year.
.
Fun fact: Dandelion Doves weave spherical fluffy nests with narrow entrances, well disguised among the spiky bushes for extra safety. In fact these entrances are so narrow, it often causes certain inconvenience towards the end of the feeding tide.
